This web site was developed to assist any Home Automation D.I.Y. enthusiast who wants to have their home automated without investing a lot of money to do so. You can buy an interactive system from most major security companies today, but you must also sign a long term monitoring contract and most of the time the equipment they sell you is proprietary to only their company.

 MyAlarmSystem.net Home Automation Services was developed so that D.I.Y. integrators can self monitor their self installed system without the expensive long term monitoring contract. You can register to use the limited free service or upgrade to more robust features offered. The services provided by MyAlarmSystem.net are self monitored and do not automatically contact the your local authorities, the registered user will be responsible for contacting their local authority in the event of an actual emergency.

 MyAlrmSystem.net is currently under development and is only compatible with DSC IT-100, PC5401 and PC4401 RS-232 Automation Modules. In time we plan to offer Home Automation Services for other security system manufacturers.

This website is currently for private use only and does not offer any type of home automation services to the open public. The website is in it's very early stages of production and development and is currently only a hobby to pass time for me personally and further develop my Perl & PHP scripting skills.
